Slowly but Surely Making Progress
Our little warrior continues to do well post surgery. He has been up and down in terms of ventilation and breathing on his own. We hope to ex-tabate tomorrow which would be a huge step in the right direction. He swelling has gone down nicely and he is getting fed a mix of breast milk and high calorie fortified monogin. We are continuing to pray for baby Paul to get well and for God to heal his little heart as only He can. Dan and I went on our first post-baby date last night at a burger joint down the road from the hospital. It was nice to get away but was also wonderful to come back to the baby. We appreciate all the love and support we are getting from all over. We love visitors and prayers. We love knowing that folks are following Paul’s story! It is truly a marathon journey that is one day at a time.
