Rejoice in good things
I can’t believe I am writing this but Paul is officially a Glenn and he is officially recovering at a rapid pace. He has been extubated, is on 1 liter of oxygen, has good pressures, low chest tube output and is eating a little bit. We are unbelievably happy will remain cautiously optimistic. Our next steps in this journey include getting Paul to eat without a feeding tube, making sure his pressures tolerate a medicine called analapril that helps with heart function, making sure he continues to have good saturations and heart rates, control his pain, and pull his chest tubes. We are slowly but surely making progress and we are SO PROUD of him. We thank each of you for your prayers and support. Meals have been especially helpful. We are thankful for every moment of everyday and rejoice in the fact that our little one is with us and pulling through.
“If you're being tested, you're being perfected. Which means you have a divine purpose & reason to rejoice!”
