Teeth teeth we have teeth! Paul got two bottom teeth last week! In all of our dealing with everyday life stuff and coping with the post-hospital blues (yes, this is real- not we want to be back in the hospital but we have anxiety because of the lack of constant feedback) we forgot to report this important milestone. TEETH!!! Paul is also in feeding therapy which he LOVES. We got placed with the best feeding therapist in Nashville and by placed I mean she was requested several times and agreed to take us as a new client! Anyway, these teeth are helping with therapy- he chews things with his teeth and this is helping oral motor skills. We are beginning the process of tube weaning- it’s slow and steady, just like Paul but its working! Other important milestones- Paul loves standing and much to the chagrin of his PT he may walk before he crawls… Further recent important events include a train ride at Opry Mills mall, several new toys (thanks, Tutu!) and a few trips to the park and story hour… Please keep praying for Paul- that he would live a long and happy life. He is truly a light of joy and LOVES life. We thank you for keeping up with our journey in the dark times and in times of incredible joy….I heard through the grapevine this means more teeth are not far away- we can’t wait!
